The World's #1 Vacuum Cleaner Advice, Repair, Discussion & Information Forum
Hi, it is actually an early to mid 1960s Hoover Junior. The styling of the 1970s Hoover Junior was different from the one you have for sale. The styling of the Hoover Junior changed in 1967 with the introduction of model 1346.
I collect them refurb them and stick them on display in the show room , It creates allot of interest.
These things are like buses (you wait ages and then they all come at once). An old lady brought us in today a Hoover Senior that she had had from new. Sometime in the early 1960's I an guessing! I haven't seen one of these since I was learning to fix vacuum cleaners back in the 1980's. It has a headlight like a car on the front when you turn it on! It had stopped working so we took the top off for a peek around..........
just to transport my inner kid back all those years!
That Junior is much nicer than all those Dysons you have!
