DC50 dust couldn't get into the bin
« on: July 27, 2016, 07:02:57 am »
I checked the filter, checked possible blockage.

It seems the dust got in by hose can get into the bin.
The dust got in by base CAN NOT get into the bin.

any clue? thanks

1) Remove the head from the machine and check for blockages both in the head exit and the machine.
2) Remove the soleplate (lower part of the head) by moving the two red clips and check for blockages in the head.
3) At the rear of the machine, remove the internal hose by pulling the red tab and check here for blockages.

Hopefully one of the above should help you.

In addition to MrDyson's suggestions above, is the brushroll turning when the machine is reclined?

It seems the item 3) from MRDYSON's reply is the problem.
The shop didn't charge me anything.
