Well I've been through it all and there is some amazing stuff there! Some of it very handy to have, and a numatic chap I know has already asked me if he can have the handles and hose end!
Thanks Allen, much appreciated!
I’ve just watched the video of you unpacking the box of tricks and, although I’ve forgotten most of what I knew about the parts, I’ll try and help with the few items that you’re a little unsure of.
I’ll start with the Brushstrip that is for the old Sebo commercial models 450 and 460. I used to regularly service 4 of these for a local Nursing Home and so always had at least one brushstrip in stock. One of the toothed belts is for the same model and this can be identified by the number 4024 printed on the belt.
The Carbon Brushes with a faded number on the bag are for a Vorwerk ET20 another German Commercial. If you’re familiar with Vorwerk the ET20 is the one that has the ‘ball/bulb looking’ motor housing at the base of the handle. An unusual design.
The Numatic Hose Machine End I’m sure is 38m/m which used to be for Wet & Dry machines e.g. George. Things may have changed since then though. The Handle is also for the George – I think. Both parts are new and genuine Numatic as I used to have an account with them and received favourable discounts. The rigid handle is a used part.
The Panasonic Hood is for the old MC-E43 the model with the 2 DF lamps. It is new and why I ever ordered it I’ll never know as never needed to fit one.
Vax 121 Filter Set has been opened because originally it was a pack of 2 sets.
Electrolux Front Wheel Assembly was for the early Contour, Glider and Airstream models.
Panasonic Filter for the MC-E850 series is a cylinder cleaner.
Height Adjustment Knob and Switch are for the Purepower.
The 2 Cord Hooks with the Hoover stuff, I think are for U1036/U1040 but not 100% about that.
You came across Paper Bags for Hotpoint which were around in the 80’s. Those machines were made in Germany, we think by Siemens, so well made. I serviced a few and, if you don’t already have one, it might be worth looking out for one to add to your collection.
