Title: Fluffy hard floor attachment and DC35
Post by: luc290670 on March 15, 2017, 09:33:59 am
I bought a fluffy hard floor attachment and made it fit my DC35 by cutting the plastic into shape. Electric contacts fit - the attachment starts spinning for 2 seconds, but then stops. Could it be that the DC35 delivers less power to the attachments than the DC62 and V6 models? If that is the case I am thinking of buying a V6 trigger to  combine it with the fluffy attachment.

It could also be that the control circuit board in the dc35 is shutting off power to the head when it detects the fluffy head drawing more power than the standard dc35 head draws.

Sounds reasonable. Is there any way to overcome this ?
Stupid that there is another electronic board in between instead of just making a direct electric contact between the battery and the attachments.
