Title: sebo x4 extra eco
Post by: ryevac on June 08, 2017, 08:37:36 pm
Had a very quick look at this today in between field calls.

clog / bag full red indicator appears on initial power up - but only when in upright position - when toe lever is pressed and vac is used then no problems and works perfectly including auto level function.
Vac is approx 6 months old, fitted a new bag and filter, checked all routes for blockages and nothing found.

The clue here is when vac is upright, clog led lights but if i pull out the long wand then fault vanishes - so am i right in saying there is a suction / air flow sensor/switch on the base section.?

will strip it tommorow as i am in workshop all day and plenty of time on this one, anyone seen this particular issue before ? or can offer advice please.

looks like this one has to go back, had a spare brand new machine in stock so substituting aux parts and fault remains.
Had a chat to sebo cus services and they couldnt give me an answer other than it's probably the pcb inside - i aint allowed inside - otherwise it invalidates the customer warranty....
better move on to these easy dyson repairs that are waiting...

There is a batch that did this earlier in the year. The odd one still pops up.

There is a reset procedure that fixes most of them, but it needs a special device that Sebo supply their agents.

Tell the customer Sebo will fix it under warranty.
