Yes, you read that right. We came by this recently from a pensioner who lives near our shop who decided it was time to upgrade to a Dyson. We got it off it him in part exchange just because we hadn't seen one for years and it's a bit "Life on Mars".
So here it is. We have stripped it down and cleaned it a little, lubricated the bearings etc and made sure it is all working fine. (Click the photos to see full size pictures).
It comes with all the original Hoover attachments (see the photos), a packet of spare belts and a couple of packets of bags.
Of course, as its a 1960's - 1970's item, we cannot offer a warranty on it other than to say it is working just fine now. Since I don't have a clue what it is worth, I have just put in on an eBay auction listing
with a 99p start and we'll see what happens.
I assumed it was a 1970's one. It looked like the ones I remember as a kid. However, a guy on eBay sent me an email that said:
Hi, it is actually an early to mid 1960s Hoover Junior. The styling of the 1970s Hoover Junior was different from the one you have for sale. The styling of the Hoover Junior changed in 1967 with the introduction of model 1346.
I love how some folk are so knowledgeable on this stuff.
It will be fun to see if it is worth anything...........
