My wife and I have been buying Eureka vacuums and we usually break a belt once a year. We use it 24/7 always cleaning up cat hair. How long do Dyson belts last and how much is it to change one?

If you buy a model with a clutch, it should last many years. The clutch mechanism should prevent the belts from snapping. You can see more on the article here: The Brush Roll Won’t Turn – Dyson DC04, Dyson DC07 and Dyson DC14

If you are worried about belts snapping often, buy any model with a clutch.

Thank you for the info, I had no idea that vacuums had a clutch.

Yes I Would have to agree with that a clutch may be something you could look into. But as far as eureka, well I'm sure you would be much happier with any of the amazing models that Dyson provides.
