DC28 Floor Type Selector Lights All Flashing

The "Floor Type Selector Lights" on my DC29 Animal are all flashing when powered on?
Any ideas as to what is wrong?

If this is the same as the DC28, than the cleaners head assy need replacement or the motor PCB, in some cases both.
