How does it work?

I got a DC24 and 25 for free, and both have fixable issues. Is there a way to find out if the machine is still under warranty online, or does it involve a call to Dyson?

Does one need the original sales receipt, or does it just depend if the machine is within the date period? If so, I can get them fixed up alot cheaper (DC24 needs a motor soon, DC25 needs a new wand and brushroll end cap at least)

You are supposed to have the original sales receipt or proof of purchase.

I am not aware the warranty is transferable.

Ah thats a shame.

Still, stripped the DC25 to its component form, if it works well upon re-assembly I'll buy it what it needs!
