I;ve been pondering trying a handheld dyson for a whole now, and found one last night advertised as 'battery holds a charge and runs , taken in part ex against something so spares or repairs as I cannot guarantee it'.
Now, it's cheap enough to have a punt, but would it be worth it? I know the batteries are the achillies heel of these, and am prepared to buy a new non genuine battery to try, but would that cure any issues it might have, or would it give me a world of pain?
Or would it benefit from a good stripdown and refurb and provide many hours happy cleaning for the missus? My daughter is at the 'lets throw food around' stage, and her having to drag either the Miele or whatever other machine I've left lying around is annoying her.
