DC07 Belt Guard
« on: October 19, 2013, 06:41:58 pm »
Hello all- new on this forum ,very impressed with amount of hints and tips on here so hope you can help. My DC07 Animal has just expired with a burnt motor. I have followed the strip down instructions in Angus Blacks manual, but have noticed that there was no belt guard fitted on the motor. It is ten and a bit years old. My question is can I replace the belt guard, are they available as a spare, or would it last another ten years without one?

It would be as well to have one.

We don't list them as nobody ever asks for them. I'll put them on if you want one?

Yes please-I think while it is completely stripped down it would be foolish not to. Wonder why it was'nt there in the first place?

Perhaps someone left it off once before, or broke it perhaps.

Anyway, they are now here: Dyson Clutch Cover Assembly 902405-06
