Dyson DC07 Origin convert to clutch control model
« on: November 04, 2013, 06:48:52 pm »
Hi is it possible to convert a non-clutch DC07 ( which is in good order) into a clutch control model, and if so what parts would be needed?

You'd need new:

  • Footplate
  • Brushbar housing
  • Clutch & clutch actuator (knob)
  • Belt guard/cover
  • Brushbar
  • Soleplate

I think that should do it

Could get a clutched DC07 complete for alot less than that lot would cost to buy! Then strip it down and make it perform like new!
