DC17 Animal ubend assembly
« on: November 30, 2013, 09:22:21 pm »
A friend took my Dyson apart to unclog it and now it has no suction.  :'(  Checking the Ubend assembly, I notice one end doesn't connect to anything.  It's just open.  Is this the way it's supposed to be?  Is something missing?

On most machines, the u-bend connects to the upright hose on one end and the machine at the other.

It would be helpful if you could post a photo of what you have?
