Old Old DC01 Brochure
« on: January 28, 2014, 06:38:31 pm »
A fellow collector burned a cd full of his collection of leaflets. Some cracking stuff there, and I came across this:

Lovely leaflet anyway, however my geekery was drawn to the upholstry brush. It looks like an older Hoover item, and certainly nothing like the DC01 upholstry tool we know and love (useless pile of :censored: that it was)

Did very early machines have a naff set of tools or did the grey one fall off that machine on the way to the photoshoot?

No it's an upholstery brush. Will try and get a better PIC of it. The upholstery tool is black, rather than the dyson style that came with the cleaner.

But surely dyson even in those days wouldn't have put a random tool with the DC for a picture, hence my thought that maybe very early dc01s had a different toolkit.

Might have to troll dysons Facebook page and ask them. Doubt they will know either though

Beko1987....

Please could I get a copy of the CD with these images on. I have just bought one of these early Dual Cyclones (aka DA001).

That would be awesome thanks...

Interesting to see that the (presumably UK) brochure uses American spelling for the word 'manoeuvre'?
