dyson dc40 brushbar not turning

hi new to these any areas to look dc40 brushbar will not turn the motor is fine
some one has put another wire on i have checked that still no turning is there a switch on the bottom when
you lean back ,just trying to save me time thanks in advance

time came yesterday to strip the dc40 quite easy to strip
found a broken wire in a about 10 mins joined job done
never thought to take pictures sorry but its common sence
