Any of you guys out there that are conversant with the Dyson washing machines, do please make a free account here at the forum and come discuss these machines with us.
We want your experiences of the weak points, the fixes, which racing car they took the bearings from, how you fixed the contra rotating drum gap problem, how you fixed the error codes, etc. All of it.
I guess as a Dyson enthusiast, I would like to know more about how to make one of these machines usable for our family.
Yes, I know it would be easier to go and buy a Candy from Currys
for two hundred quid, but the same as those guys spend untold hours rebuilding old 1960's MG's in their freezing cold garages, I want to have a reliable (ish) Dyson washing machine in our house. Just because we are Dyson people and because we can! (Well, I hope we can.)
The Russians are driving around the country, trawling eBay, The Loot
and Gumtree buying them up like crazy, so they must know something we don't. One Russian guy drove up from Hertfordshire to our shop in Manchester just to collect a faulty one he won from us on eBay recently. That's like what....... £50 -- £70 in fuel?
This is a British designed machine; I am sure we British can pool our knowledge and help each other revive a few of these! There must be some guys out there that have taken them to pieces and understand them well.
There is a BIG
discount on one of our Dyson vacuum cleaners, or cost price on some parts you need for your own Dyson vac to the best knowledgeable contributor on this thread.
