Any idea how I can clean out a mouldy, smelly Hotpoint washer
(not mine). Am going to do a boil wash and clean the draw but what would clean it out the best..?
Would dishwasher tabs(if so how many), washing powder or thick bleach do a better job?? Bit weary of the bleach tho as don't want a foam party in someone else's machine

Careful with bleach, only use a teaspoon. Clean rubber bits by hand with a mould remover and then soapy water, rinse by hand. 2 dish washer tabs on a boil wash. Half a bottle white vinegar on a 60 wash and a few rinse cycles.

Loads of descaler, 2 or 3 tablets and the hottest wash it'll do... That is what I clean mine with every 2 weeks but it also sorted my friend's one out after he went to Japan for 2 months and left it closed lmfao.
