Dyson DC07
« on: March 13, 2014, 12:07:38 pm »
Hi,

I'm after some assistance with a Dyson DC07. I have bought a new body for the DC07, as the previous one snapped at the neck. I've threaded the new cable and connected the motor. But, when I came to put the machine upright. it doesn't completely close the gap on the side valve assembly. For some reason the side valve assembly on the right-hand side of the machine will not complete it's travel!..

There's not a different body for an unclutched & clutched model is there?.. I'm guessing the only component affected by the clutch is the brush bar cover?..

Please can anyone help me, the DC07 stands up but, the valve assembly doesn't completely close!!.. >:( >:(

     Kind Regards,

      Jason

Thanx for that Bluebumble485, exactly what the problem was, motor casing re-attached properly and valve assembly now works correctly. ;) ;)

Thanx for your help,

Kind Regards,

Jason :tiphat: :tiphat:
