Fitting new hose on DC01
« on: April 18, 2014, 07:20:15 am »
First time to try repairs and have bought a second hand hose for my DC01. The old one has a split and there was no suction.  Now I can't get the new one to fit back.  Have tried everything I can think of, but it just won't go down far enough to click into place.  Any ideas , please?

They are a very tight fit. Its just a question of pushing down while pushing the clip so it locks home.

There are two after market ones made. One is better than the other I find.

Maybe try a smear of washing up liquid around the hose before pushing it down?
