I picked this up at the carboot the same week as the Vortex. I did already have one, but it was in quite bad condition, and will be relegated to Shed Vac duties once I sort the shed out...
Was nice to find one in much better condition to replace it.
Popped the hood
And took it off
Diffuser out
Bag full indicator out
and apart
Dusting brush is very worn!
Plaster dust! However not being a Dyson means it's not choked with the stuff...
Tool caddy
This is possibly the single best bag slide I've ever seen! Is properly marked and cut too! Keeping it as the bags brand new!
Filter was ok and washed well, although I think I have some new ones from the other S3460 somewhere
Motor cover off
Top motor dampers off
The top filter was very perished as they often are
Switch cover
Random bit of sponge
Switch and gubbins out
Cord rewind out
I took the bumper off and the rubber was starting to perish and leak I think. Was a
to wash off!
Sadly one wheel is held in with a screw
Motor seal out
Thats as far as the motor comes apart without serious risk of buggaring it up so left it alone.
Just washed it, should be back together soon! Do need to get the hose and floor tool out the loft and washed too though

I found a few pics of the other Compact, that I took when trying to put the motor from it into this
from this
Which didnt go well as the motors are completely different sizes!
So back iinto storage it went
Found these on the brown one though...
It donated its good switch cover to the car boot vac, which was very worn!
