The DC14
« on: September 22, 2010, 10:22:26 am »
I love the Dyson dc14, We have one at home as well as a dc18, ( I don't like carrying vacuums around the house) Unfortunately its a lovely lavender one :sick0012: I hate that colour
We only get the dc14 in SA as the animal with hepa and it now comes in dark iron colour.

My only complaint about the machine is that its brush bristles are way to soft, when you vacuum it removes the dirt but doesn't lift the carpet pile like a dc18 or 25 , (Much stiffer bristles) I still prefer it to the ball models and I like its capacity , We have 11, YES ELEVEN, cats so it gets used at least twice a day.

We have a choice of any Dyson that passed through the shop -- and we have a Dyson DC14 at home too.  :-X

We used to have a DC15 ball, but it was too heavy and cumbersome for Mrs Tech to carry up and down stairs.

We had a black one in for the USA 110volt To SA 220volt conversion   , looks very stealthy

I never saw a black one. I guess they didn't sell that one in the UK.
