Shipping boxes...
« on: August 09, 2014, 04:32:11 pm »
Ok, so I have a few dysons now as some of you already know.  I am probably going to sell a couple to make room for more and I was wondering, if I do sell them on ebay or whatever, where can I get boxes big enough to send a dyson to the buyer?!  What boxes or packaging do you use when sending them out?  Or perhaps collection only is going to be easier?

A good place to try is your local florist. Some of them get these big flower boxes from Holland that are in two pieces and fold flat. They are ideal for Dysons but require a lot of internal packing; for which we used to raid the skips at a nearby retail park. Itself another source of free boxes.

We have ours custom made now, and fill the voids with huge bubble wrap from a machine we got to make it.

Any eBayer or online seller will relate to the first part of this video I am sure.

Great idea, I'll go and talk with the local florists next time I'm in town, cheers
That bubblewrap machine is a good bit of kit - a bit pricey for the very limited use it would get from me though!
