DC03 yellow cable gromit

I need to remove the yellow cable gromit at the side of the switch in order to replace the cable. However it is stuck fast ! Does anybody have a suggestion for its removal ?

When you say stuck fast, you mean glued to the cable?

It doesn't look to be glued but it will not budge. It is the old yellow coloured gromit which has a bend in it. I have just ordered a new one from you !!

As I recall, some of them seem to be glued to the cable on DC03's, so the new one is the way forward, yes.
