Broken Dyson DC14
« on: August 23, 2014, 11:16:00 pm »
Hi I have a trusty Dyson DC14 and the body has come apart, I am gutted, and I know it is a later model because the cyclones are white, the end wand collar is white, the cyclone release catch is white and so is the wand release catch. I found out the thing is from 2004, and I know it has had a replacement body, so I want to get a new one because the bloody old one is grey instead of the shiny dark grey.

Here are some pics

How much would you sell a chassis for. Also recently my changeover valve has become really stubborn, so I would push it hard for the suction to divert fully from the cleaner head to the wand, but I have used it for DIY just yesterday. Thanks

If you didnt want to spend, you could easily glue that with Evo Stik Pipe Weld.

Thanks, but I would like a new chassis as I didn't like the colour of it anyways, it's just a dull grey instead of the proper dark grey it should have and It was broken when I first got it, and slowly broke more with use, but no suction has leaked or anything

Amy bought me a dc04 home to refurb for her friend last year, the chassis on that had done the same thing. Luckily I had a spare!
