Hello everyone,
A problem recently developed with my Dyson DC24 due to something I believe is my fault. I tried to engage the vacuum into the actual vacuuming position without depressing the red foot pedal. I believe by doing that the problem emerged which is that the head of the vacuum now dips down very low when it is not in contact with the floor, like it is sandwiching itself. I have some photographs attached to show what I mean. I had a technician look at it but he couldn't find any fault. I don't remember the vacuum doing this in the past so I'm quite sure something has went wrong, perhaps a bent spring for the head of the vacuum now too easily moves up and down when it is in engaged in the actual vacuuming mode.
