Hi all
I was hoping i could find some help,I know the problem and have the cable on order due to your old posts (THANKS ).
BUT
when i removed the the cable one black and one white.they jumped out of the female block connector that they sit in(the part that plugs in to the hoover head (roller motor)
Please does anybody know which way they go or have a photo of this part with the wires in it.

I've put your three posts in one topic. Spreading them around different topics wont help.

I'll ask our chap on Monday if he remembers if nobody else knows.

Although, in wiring, when one has a black and white wire, the black would usually be live. It would do no harm to wire it that way and quickly try it to see if the brush spins the right way.
