DC15 Pressure Release Valve Blowing
« on: January 04, 2015, 06:28:10 pm »

Hello everyone,

After around 5 secs from switching on my DC15, when it is in an upright position or when I am using the Wand, the pressure release valve on the top of the cyclone cylinder has started going off and staying open. The pressure release valve does not open when using the DC15 in a reclined position.  I have cleaned the filter in the top of cyclone cylinder and checked the more easily accessible pipes for blockages, but the DC15 is still releasing the pressure release valve.  Please could you provide some advice on what could be the problem and possible solutions.

Thanks.

I would say you have a blockage or partial blockage. try removing the wand and see if it dose the same.

I have a similar problem but the valve shut when I released the foot pedal. Did you get your problem resolved?
