Never got your hands on.
« on: January 08, 2015, 12:31:54 am »
Are there any Dysons out there you lot have never got hold of?  I have never had anything past a DC25 in my grubby paws, but have missed a few from the past as well, DC02, DC11, DC15, DC18, DC20, DC21, DC22, DC23 have all passed me by, never had (or even seen) a zorbster either.

I don't recall we had a DC02 or a DC03 see through clear one.

I also don't recall a DC03 Independent.

DC02 DeStijl is a machine I've seen a couple of pictures of, but never in the flesh/for sale. Also the DC02 Arctic Solo (the white rannaulf fiennes one). Saw one once being used in a garden centre coffee shop, but none since!

There were a couple of DC03 see through ones on ebay last year, but all with cracked plastic somewhere which is a shame

I've got a DC03 clear and the plastic just loves to self destruct  :angryman: the only fix Ive come up with is super glue, but then it discolours  :'(

I've got 3x DC03 Clear and still can't make one complete one because of all the cracks in the plastic!

Russ... Shame about all 3 dc03 clears being that bad. Basically my dc03 is near perfect but my dc02 clear is very cracked battered and a little discoloured.

Ive never seen a pink dc04 but always wanted one. Same with the white dc24... Seem very drawn to the limited editions.

Since I said it, we got a really mint DC03 silver/white independent in a few days ago mixed in with some trade-in machines. I think we will do it to 'as new' and put it with our De Stijl DC01 and DC04 we did a while back.

In time, when we get new premises, these early machines will be on display for visitors I think.

Just got hold of my first ever DC11 in the last job lot I got hold of.  It was late when I picked them up and had just been swimming so they will be staying in the car until morning.  :coffee:  :sleepy_man:

Nice one!

I suppose I should cross a dc03 clear off my list now!

Had quite a swap around with my machines. These are the dysons I am keeping. Got a dc07 origin not in the picture that's for sale.
