Pipe weld is good stuff, but make sure you use it in a well ventilated room or outdoors. If you don't you'll end up as high as a kite :boggleeye:

It of a bump but thank you for taking the time to write this, just followed it to make a knackered and slightly difficult to find absolute hose like new again.

Cheers.

Hi Beko,
Thanks for a brilliant 'how to' yet again. I discovered a split in my 07 Animal hose [and after much searching found this thread.]
I hopefully now have a working hose! :D I also am going to repair my 'spare' too as that is also split.
Julie :)

i did one yesterday, i always lube the whole aluminium pipe after refitting the hose too as i thought the original rip is caused by a stiff top bit of the pipe on the slide.
The only way to fail is not to try.

Glad it's helping! At first I was a bit skeptical of the longevity of the repair, but I've never had one back that I have done!
