Pipe weld is good stuff, but make sure you use it in a well ventilated room or outdoors. If you don't you'll end up as high as a kite

It of a bump but thank you for taking the time to write this, just followed it to make a knackered and slightly difficult to find absolute hose like new again.

Hi Beko,
Thanks for a brilliant 'how to' yet again. I discovered a split in my 07 Animal hose [and after much searching found this thread.]
I hopefully now have a working hose!
I also am going to repair my 'spare' too as that is also split.

i did one yesterday, i always lube the whole aluminium pipe after refitting the hose too as i thought the original rip is caused by a stiff top bit of the pipe on the slide.
