DC08 MOTOR

Hi Guys,
               Just a quick one, is the DC08 motor the same as the DC04, 7, 14 ?

Yes as long as its a YDK motor. The one in the DC08 don't have a shaft to drive the belt of course but there is clearance in the motor housing to accommodate it should you fit a motor with one.

Thanks, I thought as much, the only other thing I've noticed is the thermal cut out is different ?

No, The motor is a new one for a DC14 as I have a few of these in stock just wasn't completely sure if the thermal cut out was the same on the DC08 as I have seen adverts on the net stating that the 'Correct thermal cut out" is fitted to the DC08 specific motor so not sure if there is a difference or not.

99% they are all the same, only zorbster, 01, 02 are different.

Just been given a DC02 today so will be striping it down to have a look as it's the first one of those I've ever  had in  :underchair:
