I was told by a mate that they ran till 2004 cos they were so popular, however I am pretty sure it was 2000/2001

They were probably sold until much later, but I cant imagine they were being made in Malaysia at all, and there couldnt have been much overlap with the DC04 and 05 should there?

DC08 was launched in 2002 and that and the DC07 were the last of the British models to be made here :)
I believe DC01's lasted till 2001
