dyson dc19t2

hi all acquired a dc19t2. after running for a few minutes the motor burnt out. replaced it and alls well

using it and cant believe the suction its got. the problem is it didnt come with any tools (i got it for free from my dad)

now looking the dc19 and dc19t2 have different ends

i went on dysons website and asked if they was an adapter to fit my parts off my dc15 but they said there isnt one

a dyson tool is £12 each dont want to pay that much as i think the hose is too short for the car and the extension hose is 45 notes 

has anyone adapted other bits to fit. i have managed to fit the hose and bits from a henry but kindo defeats the object

There will be an adaptor out in about a month that will allow the standard 32mm Dyson tools to be used with that machine (and many others of the 'late' type tool fitting).

I'll update the topic when we have them.

I've just done a motor change on a DC19T2. Which got me wondering-what are the differences between the DC19 and the DC19T2-are they only very minor ones?
First cylinder machine I've worked on.

The telescopic wrap around hose and wand are the only differences as far as I know.
