Early DC07 rubber
« on: February 11, 2015, 05:49:45 pm »
Came across something new today, I had a very early DC07 to refurbish, when I came to do the cyclone the bottom rubber was different and actually glued to the tube.

The standard rubber, should you need reminding looks like this.

The fin assembly was slightly different as well, normal on left.  Diameter of normal hole larger.

The fins are not interchangeable with the normal rubber, but as far as I can tell you can fit normal fins and rubber to this type of cyclone once stuck on rubber is removed.  Anyone else come across this?

Yes, there are two types. The glued on one is not found too often though.

How interesting.  I've never had a glued on one,  must have had nearly 70 pass through my hands now too!
