Need help on taking apart a Dyson DC41/DC40 cleaner head please
« on: February 17, 2015, 11:09:24 pm »
Hi, I will receive my Dyson DC40 tomorrow. As it is in an utterly filthy state, it needs cleaning. I would like to know how much easier or harder it is to take the cleaner head apart in comparison to a DC25's cleaner head? Assembly was quite tricky with the DC25, putting the motor back in.
Are there any guides? Thank you so much
Tayyab

Make your own guide!

Peice of stiff card and a pen/stabby device for all the screws
little pot for non washable stuff
big box for washable stuff

Start at the top and work down, take a picture of every screw location, everything you take off and the orientation of it. Then, when you put it back together, just work from the bottom of your pictures up and it will be the reverse of removal

Wash everything, then dry it then cif it/polish it

Then spend 3 hours typing up an epic thread!

Half term this week isn't it? Should keep you off the streets for a day or two...
