We have a few house clearance type guys who drop us machines off at our shop that they find on their travels. Such a guy arrived yesterday with a DC14 for us, and mentioned he was off to see a collector he knew as he had an old vac from the same house. Naturally I went to take a look, and it was one of these:


And after a modest sum changed hands, here it is:

From the Youtube video, it would appear it is circa 1959. We haven't looked at it yet, and it has no plug so may not even go.

Any particular value to these does anyone know? Are they particularly collectible at all?

Very nice! Replacement bag sadly but at least it's the same shade of pink! I bet it runs fine... disconnect the belt first though incase the brushroll is jammed.

I may be wrong, but on/off switch on the side means it's earlier than mine. I'll spread the word
