DC16 permanent red light on or off charge - HELP PLEASE

Hi guys,

I have a DC16 which has a continuous single red light wether it is on the charger or not.

The light does turn green when it's been on the base station for a while but the  moment it is removed from the base station it flicks to red.

I have purchased a new charging station, new battery and new filters but still it won't turn on.

I'm at a loss. Is it ready for the bin?

Yep. I had a DC16 do that. It turned out to be a "dry joint" on the PCB. A blob of solder and it sorted it.
