If you happen to need a cleaner head, we still have two or three [now otherwise unavailable] new early grey ones. 8)tI must admit, reading the topic and watching the vid, its a hard one to call without having the machine in front of you.
I've never had the problem, have you tried a new cleaner head?

The clutch wasn't activated right and it was very noisy it would stay in P position all the time. When I turned on the brush roll would spin Wetherby upright or reclined the problem. Was the Dyson was refurbished and had no clutch cover or screws it only had 1 because the other screw threads were bost So the only 1 screw fell out and the clutch piped out so I had to re-screw it as good as new now (just no clutch cover is this a problem)

I had one which was serviced, the little thin plastic bit on the clutch cover with the belt was snapped off and I had a few with the motor wires in the diffuser :
