Does anyone have a DC75, V6 or any Cinetic handy?

If so, I need the first three digits from the serial number please to look up some stuff on them.

Thanks in advance.  :tiphat:

Hi, the first 3 digits from a DC75 I have are JD4. I doubt it has been registered yet. I can have a reasonable supply of these  for £210, all with under a months use. Some have never been used. They want £179 for similarly used V6's. Everything is in original boxes with tools, instructions and in some cases extra accessories.

Thanks for that Sid. That's one down.   :tiphat:

I don't need them for registration or anything, rather we are compiling a list for software and machine ID purposes and I am missing some info from late machines. Also US and Oz machines.

Any others you need? I can go and have a look and note them down. I only bought the DC75 to try out really before selling on. Performance is good, to be honest, but it just feels flimsy compared to a 7 or 14, but better than a 41.

Need to take a trip down to your local electrical/appliance store and grab the serial numbers from the display models in the shop :))

Shop assistant: "Excuse me sir, would you like help with these Dysons?"
Stewart: "No, Thank you"
Assistant: Well this is a Dyson, the best one you can buy, look at how powerful it is * plugs in and presses the cyclone catch, drops to the floor and empties* OMG"  but let me show you how powerful the DC33 suction is *extends wand, cant get it down* OMG  no way *exerts entire body weight pulling the wand down*
Stewart: Lol, told you I didn't need help but yeah enjoy hoovering! *takes serial number pics whilst the assistant is distracted and leaves the store* lol ;D

MJ4 are the first 3 digits on a V6 Fluffy they had there today. Nothing else there that was current though.

We have spent some time collating international Dyson serial numbers to incorporate them into a tool that will help with machine identification and parts look up. We are probably over 90% there now. We may be missing some Australian and Canadian serial numbers, together with some of the newer Dysons from everywhere.

So if anyone wants to test it, just enter the first three digits of your serial number and it should tell you your Dyson model. If it doesn't recognise your Dyson serial number, please tell us so that we can add it.

So that was me today in Currys being eyed suspiciously as I was dismantling shop floor machines with a Dictaphone in one hand.  :chuckle:

Could still use anyone with late machines or overseas machines putting their number in the tool here and seeing how we are doing.
