Hello. I will be buying a Dyson DC05 motorhead as some of you may be aware even though I hated both DC05's I owned, kind of. I never had/tried one, but judging by some videos on YouTube the motorhead doesn't seem to be as aggressive as a DC24 or DC25 cleaner head? I am aware of all features etc tho :) Also, how powerful are they when it comes to lifting mats off the floor? Are they better than clutched DC04's, DC24's, DC25's or DC33's? I ask this because the DC04 has less suction and so does the DC33, but with even less suction with edge cleaning channels, 255 AW vs 290 with the DC14 and a large debris channel. The DC24 has a nice cleaner head design but has 120 AW and the DC25 is a fantastic and powerful machine, but has a massive gap at the edge but it edge cleans really well, big enough to pick up nuts.

I hope I will like it, I don't wanna be disappointed with it. If I am then I will just sell it for a min of £15 to break even. The only problem with mine is that the cable needs to be reconnected and the carry handle has snapped off so will have to improvise on that. If anybody has any suggestions for this aswell I would be very grateful, thanks. :)

I would say not.

I'll have it off you if you don't like it. We can always use those.

Cool cheers! ;D I hope I will like it, I am quite disappointed that the suction at the cleaner head isn't focused tho! shocked that a DC24 is better  :o Oh dear, I would like a Dc21 motorhead one day, looks like a better machine, like a powerhead version of the beastly DC08. PS this DC05 has a snapped carry handle, ugh

You know on the normal Dc05's theres that switch actuator to turn the machine on. The DC05 motorhead has it's power controls on the handle instead, so I'm wondering why there is an actuator on the motorhead if it'snot needed, but it could be if there is a switch? I am no sire if there is meant to be a switch there as the one I'm buying is missing it's actuator actually but don't mind that really as it's for decoration I presume?
