DC07 Bin find
« on: June 29, 2015, 12:07:21 am »
it started to rain when i jumped in the car great!. anyway the hoover wasn't too wet. So Here i found a Dyson DC07 Animal Brush control Hepa Turbo tool Hoover at the tip today . (what an long name for a hoover bye the way). its a bit ruff and nasty overall though it runs but the suction is poor and it screams like hell!!! :sick0012:. it does need some TLC and Love. both filters where nasty ( had to throw them away) there was even a 13 amp fuse stuck in the filter housing as well lovely!.

Wow, that's a sorry old girl! Can't wait to see the afters!

I picked up an exact one of those from the car boot for £15 yesterday! Mine only has 2 small cips and 2 small cracks in the wand, a split hose and bloody paint on the cable, which I cant be bothered to clean off, have a cleaner cable somewhere I think...

So many DC07s have broken cyclone handles, not seen many 04s or 14s. I get so many that could be fixed but I refuse to spend £6 each for a handle.

The only indestructible cyclone handles are the ones on the DC01 and Dc02 :)

Got a lovely DC07 at a car boot, in beautiful condition, just missing a seal - while cleaning it I knocked over the cyclone and damaged the handle  :( could of kicked myself.

I've done that, had a Lovely Electrolux Contour all polished up. Something fell on it in the garage and snapped the handle off. was quite angry

Happened to me, I was vacuuming with a DC01 and only a slight  knock of the bottom of the vacuum on the sofa and the wand snapped clean off! Was in mint condition aswell
