Dyson DC08 Animal to Refurb
« on: July 29, 2015, 10:27:38 pm »
Hi guys picked this up tonight. It was pictured with just the hose but came with contact head and pipe also. It was apparently a burn out but it was a clogged filter and the motor runs really smooth. I only paid £8 for it which anyone will agree is a bargain. Had really light use going to clean it up tomorrow and probably use it myself as seems a shame to sell on as it's so tidy.

Wouldn't it be better to sell that 1 ?, if it's in really good condition you should get better money for it. To me it's always better to use the slightly tatty machines & sell the better quality one's.

Defiantly clean it up and sell it on.

Nice! This should come with a turbo brush and this purple head, the TW Animal just has the turbine head. Funnily enough I got a Dc08 origin for £8 at the carbooot sale about 3 years ago! no floor tool though, lol but got a contact head for like £2 at the cb about 2 months later in yellow!

Theres a DC25 All Floors in perfect working order, just has the red pedal missing, stabiliser intact. Had o be relisted many times and today the auction ended with no bids even though it was £15! All tools aswell, I would get it but it's all the way in Wolverhampton

We are short of DC25's at the moment as well. We had a run on them. I can go and buy 40/50 if I drive down to the Midlands, but I don't want to drive down there......
