« on: July 31, 2015, 07:13:24 pm »
Hope someone can help me, my DC40 brush bar stopped turning so Found this forum and that I needed a yoke cable assy.
Ordered and it arrived today. Promptly dismantled dyson, replaced yoke cable
. However once put all back together I now have 3 bits left
I have no clue where they go!! This plastic clear thing fell out so did not see where it fell from
I have studied the breakdown of parts ( found on this Web also ) but still can't work out where
It  these go, can any one help please??! I will attach photos to show the parts I'm referring too
With thanks

The clear cog thing with spikes sticking out is part of the yolk, theres also a white circular thing that holds it in, these two bits are held in by a screw. Take the yolk off and face the front of it, on the left side internally it should go there with the screw hole :)
