Lets sort the shed out too!
« on: August 22, 2015, 06:06:51 pm »
Had some free time today so had a look at the shed.

Spent an hour emptying out half of it...

Left this half for now

The reason for this bout of work on this stupid hot day was these. They used to be in our front room, they came with the house and the owner said keep them, as they werent hers. We've had them for over a year now, and last night Amy wanted rid, so of course out they came! They look too good to tip

Cleared the bench, took the broken crappy shelves down off the back wall and gave it all a hoover

Did some cutting

stripped the lighting out of it, and removed the backstop from the 2 shelves

Lovely!

The other one sits on the floor with no cutting required

Screwed to the shed, which steadies the shed up no end!

Filled the shelves up with bags and filters

Stacked all the crates in and started putting bits back in

And how it sits now! Need to get rid of some machines.

Shelled out 4 DC04s that have been in the garden for weeks to get the good bits off, and have a car full of crap to go to the tip with tomorrow!

Knackered and bit drunk now...

Stupid hot day ? Lucky sod, it's raining down here & has been most of the week. Rained so much that the local car show for tomorrow has been cancelled. The park they hold it in, is apparently a mud bath. >:(

Wow,  that is messy.  Still though,  its made out of bricks rather  than £129.99 wickes quality! The racking in my shed braces it together more than it does itself lol

Its all set out in there with L shaped work top, loads of power points, sink etc.  It was great but it then just got used as a dumping ground  :snivel:  I will get it sorted this year.

I know what you mean about the wooden sheds, we have one for the bikes and lawn mower, over the years its bottom has spread so its about 12" wider than the top  :)) every time the cat jumps on it it wobbles, think it will fall apart one day.

Get those DC04 wands on eBay if they are mint. You want £25 each delivered. Good ones are getting thin on the ground now and prices are up.

Their not mint, missing every removable part on them, one is cracked. Keep them just in case. One is a DC03 one, will use that on my clear to avoid any more damage to the wand.
