A £1.20 DC24

I bid on a 'DEAD' (in caps on the advert) DC24 the other day, and for £1.20 bought this home...

I think I paid about 98p too much, will harvest it's good organs and scrap the rest when I can be bothered, but I wasnt expecting it to work at all. It could have clogged the filter, shut off and they just thought it was  No idea what microswitches or stupid small tiny cables there are to break and kill everything on a 41, any PCB's on these that go south?

Cant go wrong for £1.20 for a machine that runs whatever you need to fix on it.

True. Every body part is beaten up on it so realistically I'll dismantle it and keep:

Wand
Hose
Motor
brushroll motor
brushroll pcb
cord
possibly the brushroll baseplate
cyclone
ball
other little twiddly bits

It shows how finicky these can be though, I've seen them blow the PCB/motor with a perfectly fine brushroll and nothing else wrong. This vibrates and flails about all over the place, probably has done for years and yet still works fine!

End caps are to be treated like tools imho :P  They always go missing and if there's a tool on the uprights, theres most likely the end cap present too from machines I seen around
