Oddball DC04 Zorbster Once Used in Dyson Advertising.

This is a scan of an old Argos catalogue page I found on another site (Vacland).

What do you make of that Zorbster? A pre-production model they used for advertising only maybe?

Never seen one that colour, could it be a printing error?

The scanners used to do this are probably dodgy, there was a scan of a DC14 Origin and it should be bright yellow, but wasn't exactly

Surely a scanner wouldnt take off all the stickers and writing too though? Plus every other colour looks ok on it

Plus the cyclone is wrong, as is the zorb dispenser. Here is what they really looked like.

On the VERY late DC01 parts back in 2010, my mate had his Dc01 refurbished by a dyson engineer and had a logoless cyclone, no stickers or anything and nothing on nthe new cleaner head

Perhaps it was a prototype?

I have a couple of those cyclones new.

Perhaps it was a prototype?

That is what I think, the shroud isn't quite right either.

Looks like they used a mocked up picture from production drawings while the real ones were in production.
