Om nom nom! Being from discontinued but discounted that's in very good condition, you got lucky there! It's odd seeing them so shiney and unfaded!

So, the big question - to use or not to use? To turn on and see what it sounds like and not use, or to leave it alone?

I wouldnt use it, maybe turn it on though... Would give you a good suction and noise benchmark for other DC04's though!

It came off eBay over £100. Rather not disclose the specifics.

Ah he's just trying to benchmark what the market rate for one is nowadays.

Dont forget Mvacs, we are all a bit cynical of the seller this came from, they can be quite hit and miss. I imagine that *may* have kept the price down and people wondered wether to gamble or play it safe

Thing is Beko I think the clutch to motor belt will be gone and to turn it on my mess up the inside of the clutch. I do want to hear it though...

True, although as damage would go it wouldnt be too bad... Just dont recline it to avoid undue stress on it?

I think the box could have been better. I have nice clean boxes that have been left in the loft

Open shop but a massive hoarde from their father or something. They were DiscontinuedbutDiscounted, they posted on vacuumland in the early days of their existence, when the kids bid their stuff up sky high then nonchalantly decided they didnt want it, we al lkicked off a bit over that one! Not sure if you were on VL back then?
