Just stripped a dead DC05 and found this motor in it, all others I've done have had a YDK type motor. Can a YDK be put in and do I need anything else to fit or do I need to change like with like and what type is it ?
Thanks

You will need need new motor rubbers for the YDK motor, and maybe a new bucket, but I'm not 100% sure on that though. Hope this helps

It seems I have the Panasonic SDS1204SD motor, just need to know what parts I need to convert to get it working (or get a replacement motor if its cost effective.

These panasonic motors are quite rare, my DC05 motorhead has one :) Most DC05's have the YDK
