« on: October 18, 2015, 12:50:48 AM »

I would say around 2008/09, the DC07 was launched in 2001 and the DC08 in 2002, the DC07 production ended in 2008
DC14s are tanks, just need a slightly longer motor life. Do plastic parts often break on DC14s? Nope. DC41- Sexy looking futuristic and powerful machine. Just needs a better designed cleaner head wheel and cyclone clip along with a dense metal rod in the chassis.

Call me stupid, but how can you tell when a dyson was built?

I can tell roughly how old one is by looking at it

There can be a date wheel on the plug that gives you a very rough guide as to how old it is. You can't really get a precise date.

That's why I said rough idea. It means it's at least 2010.
