Does anyone know how to get the hinge pin out on the post filter cover of a DC33? I have taken the screw out but can not seem to remove the hinge pin - any feedback on this would be gratefully appreciated

remove the torx screw, then i use a hair dryer to warm and slightly soften the plastics (my house is very cold).
small flat screwdriver carefully between the clear plastic part of the lid hinge / vac body bit and prize apart whilst pulling the lid away.

The peg bit on the lid hinge has a chamfer on it to ease refitting.
first time i did one i thought it would break so using a bit of heat enables the plastic to be a little more flexible
The only way to fail is not to try.
